After a couple of weeks away from the local spots I headed to the Churnet & then onto the moors. As always plenty of common woodland species to keep you occupied at the stream. Garden Warbler, Repoll, Blackcap, Spotted Flycatcher, Chiffchaff, Nuthatch, to name but a few. Dipper showed well further towards Titterswo

rth the Reservoir its self was very poor no passage waders or anything
above the regulars. Peregrines look to be doing very well at the moment I struggled to locate any Hobbies this morn. I had a steady stroll with Bill around a walk Ive never done before plenty of Tree Pipits, Redpolls & common Warblers ill perhaps do it again soon when the wind is a little less strong. Not a bad morning out in possibly the worst month of the year for birding.
