A call today from Bill did I fancy a quick run to Inner Marsh farm for the Long Billed Dowitcher that has taken up residence there the last few day. On arrival I noticed a Great White Egret just taking off luckily manage alert bill to it as he needed for a year list. The dowitcher showed pretty well the other side of the reserve from the centre although most of the time its head was tucked away in full chill.
