I headed to Gun Hill in the hope of something being bought down in the rain but unfortunately the fog was awful so I bypassed it and went to Tittesworth. Nothing out of the ordinary there, 5 Wigeon and 3 Snipe probably the best of a poor gathering. Rudyard was a vast improvement with 7 Dunlin 6 Ringed Plover 3 Snipe and plenty of Lapwings. Again many Pied Wagtails around the shallows but today they were joined by a good gathering of Meadow Pipits. Load of Teal but I didn't do a count and no Wigeon today perhaps the small flock are commuting between Rudyard and Tittesworth
