Having been left in charge of my youngest for the weekend it was time get some birding done optics ready and all terrain pushchair ready. First call was a regular check of Rudyard not to bad either with
Greenshank, Green Sandpiper &
Redshank there when I arrived.
Westport Lake was the next port of call bad time really folk everywhere. Willow Tit
Dabchick & 3 Shoveler probably best of the birds there. Got a call from a few lads at
Blithers so shot over there to the
causway as 3 Little Gulls were close to the car park.
Arctic tern were seen from the
causeway as was Little Egret and Common Sandpiper. I decided finish off at
Doxy marshes very quiet indeed although the
scoter was still on Boundary flash and Kingfisher did a flyby in front of the hide. Its where to go
tomorrow now I may go local then onto
Frodsham or head east Staffs
