With heavy rain preventing me to get out work and bored staring through the window waiting for it to stop, I grabbed my kit and headed to deepest darkest moors for an hour or two. Spending most of my time around Swallow Moss area I notched up Tree Pipit, Redstart, Buzzard, Reed Bunting, Peregrine & a Cuckoo that never sat still due to Redpolls & Mipit ganging up on him. Still no Grasshopper Warblers about hopefully I can latch onto one at the weekend where I plan spend some time up there.
