Nightingale Hunt

A unconfirmed report of a Nightingale at Tittersworth had me checking the place out. Nothing resembled a Nightingale the closest I got was a Garden Warbler. Steve arrived later with the same results. Plenty about in terms of woodland birds. Pied Flycatcher was in it normal place unless your on a bird race, 3 Spotted flycatcher were new in and always a pleasure to see. Plenty of Redpoll knocking around the scrub areas with Whitethroats, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff & Blackcaps. A trip up the moors was dissapointing nothing to note really very little new in even after some good showers. I was hoping for a Hobby but had to make do with my fix of Peregrine. Curlew Lapwing, Stonechat, Buzzard, Kestrel, Red grouse and other common species.
