My 5 year old fancied a day Birdwatching after a quick think Martin mere would fit the bill with it being very commercial (Too) as i didn't want him to get bored. Few birds to note although it was only a quick scan in each hide. 80c Avocet 200c Pink feet a few Black tailed Godwits Ringed Plover Pintail also a few Whoopers left plus many of the commoner species. Little man wasn't ready for home so popped to Sandbach flashes in the hope of a Green Sandpiper, luckily 1 was showing well from the veiwing platform. 2 Common Sandpipers fed close by and we got the normal distant views of little Ringed Plovers and Black Tailed Godwits. Wigeon and Teal were also present.
