North Staffs Moors

Up later than i expected this morning so I didn't get out until about 11 by that time every man runner and cyclist were out so nipped into Rudyard only Green Sandpiper there then headed up the moors get away from the crowds. I have very little luck up there since my return to birding today was no different. There were plenty of Red Grouse about at Knotbury area and plenty of Swallows House Martins & the odd Sand feeding up around the eastern side of the moors. A few Buzzards and Kestrel and large flocks of Mipits were the best I could conjure up
