Ogston Res
What was to be the last camping trip of the year ended up not far from Matlock & very close to Ogston. An hour or so there Sunday in miserable conditions wasn't too bad with Green Sandpiper, 2 Black Tailed Godwits, Ruff & a few LRPs had a word with a few locals who didn't give much away.I then got a call this morning saying a Citrine Wagtail had been there for 3 days shot off with camper on tow and family in car but it hadn't been seen for an hour so didn't stay long to save a bollocking. Hobby spent a few minutes above camp this morning before heading Ogston way. Tawny owl and Nuthatch were regulars too.I will definitely be back there some time in the future
