North Staffs

I Headed to Gunn Hill for dawn a couple of nice surprises in a Woodcock & Red Grouse then it was onto Tittersworth around 30 Teal in the reserve end. The main lake held just the regulars bar a Skylark & a Grey Wagtail. The Moors as normal held very little, Meadow pipits were abundant a single Raven & Kestrel near swallow moss. Back at Rudyard possibly the best bird was Kingfisher. 2 Snipe roosted on the mud with about 25 Lapwings. A few Gulls present mainly BHG but 2 Lesser Black Back kept them company. I think a trip further afield is on the cards next week
