I managed to get an hour birding at Gunn Hill before work, I arrived just in time to avoid the walkers and horse riders. On the way upto the trig point I followed a single Wheatear for a 100 yards, plenty of mipits heading south plus 2 Great Spotted Peckers. Around 10 Red Grouse were seen in the short time i was there. 2 Goldcrest 5 Long Tailed Tits & Blue Tits were feeding in the conifers. I also got my first Fieldfare this Autumn it was made very uncomfortable by 2 Mistle Thrushes that were not as pleased to see it as myself
