Going Local

With rain stopping work first thing this morning it was either sit in the house for an hour or an hours birding. No contest so it was off to Tittersworth for hopefully Sand martins, 3 were knocking around the reserve side, the other side it was difficult steadying the scope in the wind so not much too note. West side of the moors had plenty of Red Grouse on territories and a single Stonechat was clinging onto dear life or be blown away. Peregrine was knocking around the area as was a Raven. Plenty of Mipits about but no Wheatears or a passage Ring Ouzel. The rain abaited so back to work it was
