Tittersworth and West Moors

Whilst waiting for the rain to stop I dusted off the optics & headed to Tittersworth to put up another bird table and a few feeders. A nice surprise was 6 Wigeon in and looking like they might make the conservation pool there home for a few months. A Snipe on the far bank was also a bird to note in the god for saken birding hole of N Staffs lol. A quick trip around the Roaches and upto Flash got me a pair of Stonechats and 39  grounded Golden Plover  just in digiscoping range.   whilst c50 more headed West. Still plenty of Swallows hawking insect up there but the Meadow Pipits seem to of dwindled. On a plus note my new camera arrived a nikon  p310 a slightly updated version of the p300 that broke.
