Tittesworth and surrounding area
A mid week early morning visit to Tittesworth wasnt at all bad a small flock of Wigeon had dropped in and the Kingfisher preformed well just by the conservation pool. Saturdays visit wasn't up to much. A quick scout around Gun Hill produced very little even the fog hadn't bought anything down. It was the same at Tittersworth and Rudyard. Snipe, Goosander and regulars were at the former and the best bird at Rudyard was a Common Gull. The Moors seemed very quiet but a Wheatear was feeding up at Revige. Disappointing really when everywhere else seems to be attracting some reasonable waders and water birds
