Tittesworth and the Moors

I arrived at Tittesworth for dawn and glad I did what can be described a mega was on the Conservation  pool. A Little Grebe, it has been some time since I have seen one there it certainly hasn't been in the last four years. The Lesser Scaup took flight too but only made it to the conservation pool. Good numbers of Curlew are still in the field and Oystercatchers parade around the reservoir. Other than the regulars another bird to note was a singing Chiffchaff at the west hide. The moors were filling up with the common residents but still well short of any numbers. No spring migrants as yet but there were a lot of Winter Fieldfare making there way through.
