A couple of hours out

Today with grand weather hitting us I decided spend a couple of hours birding whilst the sun shone. Tittesworth was called on but not a lot had changed except the water level, Its rose again. The pair of Oystercatchers  3 young are looking well as they hugged what shoreline is left. Common Sandpiper were in the same vercinity but no LRPS today. Spotted flycatchers were back at Churnet but still no Pied Flycatcher as yet are they going give Tittesworth a miss this year. The moor held Grasshopper Warblers, Tree Pipits, Redpolls, Whitethroats & plenty of Wheatears and Willow Warblers. A Garden Warbler up there was possibly the highlight for me as its a year tick, another came later in the shape of a Redstart but that was at Onecote. Plenty of Buzzards were up but the hope of Hobby didnt materialize. Peregrine was at the Roaches on the way home
