Saturday I arrived at Tittesworth an hour later than I anticipated. The forecast for cloudy and dry seemed a million miles off with very heavy downpours taking its place. These bought didly squat to the reservoir so headed up the moors for a few hours. Buzzards, Kestrels and corvids were main species encountered. A few Stonechats battled with the wind in various places as did Reed Buntings, A female Sparrow Hawk hunted the edges of the now decreasing pines at Gib. I planned to stop until dusk but I got bored and went back Home.
