Foremark

Things went to plan an early finish at work meant Foremark for the gull roost. At around 1500 birds began settling down mainly Common & Black Headed Gulls but there was Yellow Legged with a few Herring & Blackbacks. By 1600 the dam side of the reservoir was teething with white blobs but no sign of the Glaucous Gull I was hoping latch onto. Luckily twenty minutes later a lad spotted it land some distance away. We managed watch it for 10 minutes before the light finally went. Other birds to note were around 15 Goosander, Little Grebe & Kingfisher
