Gun Hill (TTV)

I had a wander around Gun Hill to do my TTV this morning. The regulars were there in the shape of Red Grouse, Mipits & Skylarks. A few migrants and possible breeders new in were Garden Warbler 2, Blackcap 2, Redpoll 2 & a massive 17 Willow Warblers. Two different birds were a Cuckoo calling and hawking & a flyover Whimbrel in full voice heading Tittersworth direction. I gave Tittersworth a quick look from the causeway no Whimbrel but plenty of LRPs and Common Sandpiper
