Garden Tick

Yesterday I managed a fine garden tick, well I was stood in the garden whilst c20 Waxwing flew low down Thames Dr. They circled the Oak tree just down the road as if to land then did one over to the old miners estate. They looked like they dropped so grabbed my kit and went a searching, an hour later giving up there is just no berries around there this year, where normal years the Rowen tree are ablaze with waxwing food. Im sure they wont be last this year I see with the number that are currently in the country but I dont think they will last well into 2013 I hope im wrong.
